Wake Up Chris

This morning, I woke up. Up to there, all is well, and I suppose I should be happy I even woke up, as only a true pessimist can be, but this little quirk made it all the more interesting. Yes, for this morning, I woke up with my headphones on.

Most people would think that was weird, possibly even indicative of some kind of obsession, but if these people had been watching for 6 hours, possibly thanks to some kind of Truman-esque TV show - as undoubtedly they are - they would know that I had not, in fact, gone to bed with them on.

It is kind of worrying to wake up wearing headphones, but with no actual memory of putting them on. My night was a vague blur of sleeplessness and half-dream, but nothing about ears, or music, or audio equipment...

One day I really should film myself sleeping...to see if I don\'t change into some kind of psyche controlled super hero, or even super villain, most possibly the latter, I am British after all.

Again, I suppose I really should just be thankful I did wake up at all. I might have woken up dead! I think it would be a great waste to die in one\'s sleep, without a fight or without any last words.

I appreciate a dramatic death, in flames and explosions, or as part of a huge web of treachery and plotting. In short, I think dying Hamlet style would be quite cool.
